Why is Moodtalk used for conducting the workshop?

Heading

Previous MiBe workshops were often time-consuming, hard to compare, and rarely documented sustainably. Moodtalk provides structure, commitment and transparency—with the aim of using the results purposefully and triggering change.

Previous Challenge Solution by Moodtalk
Extensive workshop preparation
(> 3 hours)
Guided, digitally supported process
No central recording of measures Documentation and progress tracking in Moodtalk
Impact hardly measurable Comparability and traceability through systematics

Who is responsible for conducting the workshop?

Heading

The leader of the respective team is responsible for organising and conducting the workshop. The Moodtalk Assistant supports all steps in the process. In teams with a low motivation score HR Business Partners also provide advisory support.

📝 Leader’s tasks

(For details see above: Process with Moodtalk – step by step)

  1. Schedule workshop date (recommended: September 2025)
  2. Prepare the workshop with the Moodtalk Assistant (creation of a guide after deadline in early September)
  3. Optional: Pre-discussion with HR BP
  4. Conduct the workshop with the team (from September 2025)

What is the goal of the workshop?

Heading

The goal is the joint definition of concrete measures or principles to purposefully further develop teamwork—with a focus on aspects the team itself can influence.

As preparation for the workshop, all team members receive an email from the Moodtalk Assistant with questions on:

  1. assessment of the MiBe results
  2. perceived strengths and challenges in collaboration
  3. prioritisation of topics to be explored in the workshop

Not all topics can or should be tackled in the workshop. Therefore, focus topics for later follow-up work should also be defined.

In what team set-up does the workshop take place?

Heading

The constellations in which the MiBe results are discussed have been defined in advance.

The email from Moodtalk to all leaders (which also contains this link) specifies with which people which results are discussed.

This page is intended for all CSS leaders for whom a workshop on the MiBe results is planned, as well as for all HR Business Partners (HR BPs) supporting this process.

It answers the key questions about the procedure and shows how Moodtalk supports the workshop.

Optional Q&A session (30 min) for leaders with open questions – on August 28 or September 9 2025

Process with Moodtalk – step by step

Step 1

1. Preparation task for the team

In the second half of August 2025 (expected on August 20, 2025), all team members of those teams where a workshop is planned will receive an email from the Moodtalk Assistant with a few brief questions for preparation. The questions are answered directly in Moodtalk. The results are visible to all team members after answering.

Preparation questions on:

  • Reflection on the motivation score (MiBe result)
  • Assessment of current collaboration (strengths and challenges)
  • Prioritisation of the key topics for the workshop

Deadline for answers: beginning of September (expected September 3, 2025)

Purpose: The answers form the basis for the workshop and ensure a well-founded discussion.

Step 2

2. Creation of the workshop guide

After the deadline, a guide for the workshop can be created with the Moodtalk Assistant. This is based on the team’s answers to the preparation questions and suggests concrete focus topics.

Important: The leader can choose a focus topic relevant to them and concentrate on it in the workshop.

The Moodtalk Assistant creates for that topic a guide for the workshop with:

  • A brief summary and
  • some targeted discussion questions

The guide can be adapted or extended by the leader at any time.

📝 Leader’s task:

Review the guide and adjust if necessary. Optionally, the guide can be discussed in advance with the HR BP or the Moodtalk team.

Step 3

3. Conducting the workshop

In the workshop:

  • The check results are discussed (together with the MiBe report)
  • Relevant topics are explored in depth
  • Concrete measures and/or team principles are defined together

The results are directly captured on Moodtalk.

📝 Leader’s task:

Conduct the workshop and document the agreed measures/principles in Moodtalk – if needed together with an HR BP.

Step 4

4. After the workshop

The implementation and progress of the defined measures and principles are made visible and tracked in Moodtalk.

It is recommended that the teams continue working on targeted focus topics that emerged. If additional support is needed here, Moodtalk can be contacted at any time: support@moodtalk.ch
