After a successful testing phase of the cloud-based organizational and team development platform, Moodtalk went live in January 2022. Today, over 150 teams from renowned companies such as CSS Insurance, Axpo, and the Psychiatric Services of Aargau already use Moodtalk.

To advance our mission with speed and the highest quality, we have successfully completed a seed funding round of nearly 1 million Swiss francs. The round is led by the Innovation Foundation of Schwyzer Kantonalbank, with additional participation from angel investors such as David Studer, founder of Xovis; Hans C. Werner, former HR head at Swisscom; Beat Fellmann, CFO at Valora; Melanie Gabriel, co-founder of Yokoy; and Daniel Heller, partner at Farner Consulting.

The System for Corporate Culture 4.0

Our mission is to optimize team collaboration and develop the system for Corporate Culture 4.0 through the use of the latest technologies and user-friendly software.

The three founders of Moodtalk recognized at their previous employers that the world of work is undergoing radical change, and collaboration and culture within companies must be rethought to remain competitive in the future. The growing shortage of skilled workers, economic pressure for efficiency, and the digital revolution have placed companies in a situation where the system of collaboration must be redefined. Collaboration issues need to be addressed early and solutions implemented immediately and directly within teams to ensure sustainable business success and promote social sustainability in the workplace.

Moodtalk ensures that teams regularly discuss in structured meetings how to collaborate optimally, interpret the organization’s values, principles, and strategy, and implement them in daily work during times of change. Through the clarity and focus gained, Moodtalk’s software guides teams in implementing appropriate solutions and integrates them directly into daily work. Moodtalk’s software complements human interaction with the necessary structure, shares solutions and inspiration, and makes behavioral changes in culture transformations and strategy implementation processes measurable.

Unlike traditional solutions, our technology simplifies the change process for all employees in the company by empowering them to recognize challenges early within their teams, address them, and immediately implement appropriate solutions together. With Moodtalk, the time between identifying and resolving team challenges is reduced by a factor of 10, while employee satisfaction and retention increase by more than 30 percent. Furthermore, Moodtalk efficiently measures how behavioral changes are implemented during culture transformations and strategy adjustments, making this transparent in real time to company leadership and HR teams. This enables proactive action and ensures the success of transformations.

Having the Innovation Foundation of Schwyzer Kantonalbank as lead investor, alongside renowned entrepreneurs and leaders as investors, sends a strong signal about the urgency of the problem and the market’s interest in developing a digital system for Corporate Culture 4.0.

“Moodtalk closes an important gap with an innovative solution between problem recognition and solution implementation within teams and entire organizations, ensuring that issues are addressed directly in the team and challenges in change processes are tackled immediately”

says Markus Oswald, CEO of the Innovation Foundation of Schwyzer Kantonalbank.
